CONGRATULATIONS NSC CANSKATE PROGRAM

We are beyond excited to inform you that the NSC CanSkate Program has earned the ⭐ Exceeded Level of Recognition ⭐ in the Skate Ontario CanSkate Excellence Recognition Renewal program. This is an important step in our CanSkate Program, and we would like to thank all of the CanSkate Coaches who helped make this happen. The CanSkate Programs falls under the leadership of Leanne Paisley, the CanSkate Director since April 1, 2025. 

We were informed by Skate Ontario that our club continues to set the standard - meeting Skate Canada's delivery standards and going the extra mile to inspire, engage and elevate each skater's experience. Skate Ontario will be highlighting clubs who maintain or exceed their previous level in the Recognition Renewal Program on social media. 

This is a great step for NSC and which we will be celebrating!

In celebration of the Olympics, the host for the CTV Morning Show Melissa Lamb,

came to learn some figure skating moves with the Nepean Skating Club.

NSC Coach Lori Walker along with NSC skaters Emily and Hailey gracefully demonstrate

skills like spirals, twizzles and axels.
